RESPIRATORY DISEASES

Asthma
It is a chronic disease caused by inflammation in the airways. Some symptoms include pulmonary spasm, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Allergies, infections and contamination can cause asthma attacks.
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is the
inability to exhale normally. This condition is usually caused by smoking,
genetic factors and contamination.
It is divided into acute and chronic bronchitis. Chronic bronchitis is a
type of COPD that is emphasized by an
chronic cough. The acute bronchitis is caused by a virus. In both cases,
the mucous membrane in the lungs is inflamed in the bronchial passage. This
causes swelling that prevents the passage of air into the lungs. To treat it,
the procedure must be consistent and constant.
This disease is another type of COPD. The most
common cause is smoking and those who have this condition have problems
exhaling the air of the lungs. Emphysema evolves slowly as the years pass and
it has no cure. Cigar smoke damages the air sacs of the lungs to a point where
they can not regenerate by themselves; Therefore, quitting smoking reduces the
rate of progression.
Of all malignant tumors, lung cancer is the
leading cause of death in Mexico. Since it has the possibility to develop in
any part of the lungs, it is difficult to detect. The tumors interfere with the
regular function of the lungs, although the symptoms may take years to appear;
Some of them are: chronic cough, changes in voice, scratchy breath and coughing
blood, among others.
This disease is caused by an infection in the
pulmonary bags. The infection can be caused by a bacterium, virus or fungus.
Most people can recover in a period of 1 to 3 weeks, but there are also cases
that take many years to recover. Some symptoms are: fever, cough, chills and
breathing problems. To prevent it, it is suggested to wash your hands
frequently, to prevent the flu becomes more severe or to receive the
appropriate vaccine
