DIGESTIVE SYSTEM PROCESS

The digestive system process start in the mouth and finish in the small intestine.

The mouth crush the food and saliva makes it easier to swallow the food.

The food bolus crosses the esophagus by swallowing to reach the stomach. 

In the stomach food is temporarily stored and subjected to the action of corrosive gastric juice produced by the glands of the mucous covering the organ. 

The liver secretes the essential bile for the digestion of fats, serves as a storehouse of vitamins, proteins and glycogen.

The gall bladder stores the bile and then pours it into the duodenum.

The pancreatic juice intervenes in the digestion of all organic foods. 

Pancreatic juices, bilialy and intestinal are poured into the duodenum are discharged, that digest food and absorb the nutrients.

In the small intestine take place digestion and absorption of nutrients.

In the colon, the long route of the food bolus ends and the fecal matter is formed. 

The waste of the entire digestive process is expelled through the rectum and anus.
