EATING DISORDERS

Eating disorders describe illnesses that are characterized by irregular eating habits and severe distress or concern about body weight or shape

1. ANOREXIA: Is a disorder of eating behavior that provides weight loss caused by the patient and leads to state of starvation
   
2. BULIMIA: Also know as simply bulimia,  is an eating disorder characterized by binge eating followed by purging
3. PICA: Is a behavior based on the appetency and ingestion of non-food, substances, such as sand, paper, feces, hairs, charcoal, earth, plaster
